BUILDING THE STAND

After doing some in-depth research on stands that would work for dress forms I found the perfect one. If you look on the internet, you’ll find a lot of tutorials using the design below.

Is not a bad one, but after testing it, I realized that it wasn’t the most stable stand. That’s why I decided to look a little further and try to find a better one. And here is!

This stand has superior stability and can support more weight with four points of contact. It also looks great!

    MATERIALS YOU'LL NEED:

    • * 1 PVC PIPE (1-1/4 in x 10 ft Sch 40)
    • 3 PVC TEES (1-1/4 in - Sch 40)
    • 3 45° PVC ELBOWS (1-1/4 in- Sch. 40)
    • 4 PVC CAPS(1-1/4 in - Sch 40)
    •  RATCHETING PVC  CUTTER OR A HACKSAW

    * Pipe cut's length

  • 1 piece = 14.75 in
  • 1 piece = 11 in
  • 1 piece = 5.5 in
